I love utilising symmetry to create visual balance, and then breaking it to draw attention to certain details.

For example, The Moon card has asymmetry in the moon itself, especially visually appealing when compared to The Sun card.
Temperance, a card all about balance, or a lack thereof, is almost completely asymmetrical, which is off putting and visually causes a sensation of disbalance, which highlights the meaning of the card even further, the internal confusion that occurs when one is not in balance.

These four images were created as fan art for the video game Hollow Knight, including a one panel comic about two of the characters (namely Hornet as a child and Herrah the Beast) and three images of my own design for a creature from this universe.

Above is a still image from real gameplay.
